Update
Hi everyone I have just had the 2015 prices through from NAVO so I think we are in a position to start setting some dates.
Dates
Group closure date 28th of February, while it will be technically possible to make changes after this date form my own sanity it would be good if we had a firm yes from everyone by this date.
50% deposit paid to me before the 1st of May, NAVAO have asked that the payment comes to them as one payment.
50% balance paid to me before the 1st of August
Enter China 3rd September, this date has been chosen to ensure we get to border crossings on days they are open.
Enter Pakistan on the 7th of September
Costs (assuming a group over 4)
Rider with bike CYN 7900 each (around £845 on 26/01/15)
Extra rider (sharing bike) CYN 1100
Pillion Passenger 500 CYN
I am happy with these costs and the service I have got from NAVO so am not looking into any other options.
If you need a cheaper option then I would suggest putting another group together and looking at other companies offering similar tours.
After some discussion the trip I am booking will have a NAVO car with it the whole time, if you want to join with your own car then I think it would be a great help to have an extra car but it won't change the price.
Itinerary
1 Tourgart/Irkeshtam(Entry)-Kashgar* Kashgar 170km 4h Deal with all procedure at the border with the help of the guide, then go to Kashgar
2 Kashgar Kashgar Deal with the remaining procedures in the local Traffic Administration Office in the morning, get your Chinese temporary driver license and vehicle plate etc, if you still have some time in the afternoon, you can visit: Old Kashgar City, Sunday Market & Livestock Market; Id Kah Mosque;Abakh Hoja Tomb etc if you are interested in.
3 Kashgar - Karakuli Lake Karakuli Lake 210km 4.5h Heading to Karakuli Lake and stay overnight there with tranquil Lake
4 Karakuli Lake - Tashkorgan Tashkorgan 110km 2.5h Take some time staying in Karakuli rippling the beautiful snow mountain reflection, after that, drive to Tashkorgan, the ruins of a huge mud-brick fort still stand on the edge of town, and although estimated to be about 600 years old, local lore says Tashkurgan has been a citadel for over 2300 years. Also, you can enjoy beautiful scenery of Pamirs here. The Greek philosopher-scientist Ptolemy (AD 90–168) mentioned Tashkurgan in his Guide to Geography as a stop on the road to China. The Chinese Buddhist pilgrim Xuan Zang wrote about the fortress in the 7th century, when it was the furthest frontier outpost of the Tang dynasty.
5 Tashkorgan - Kunjerab Pass (Eixt) 130km 3h In the morning, drive to Kunjerab and deal with the exit procedure, then leave China for Parkistan.
(Neil has suggested we ask about adding an extra day to the to the trip so we have time to do the site seeing in Kashgar, with a large group there may not be time after all the paperwork, this would put the price up a little. if the majority of the group are interested then I will ask for a price. )

Somewhere a few hours drive from the border would be good. Looking at a map At-Bashi, looks like the closest town which is 156k away.
