BMW F800GSA Luggage
Hello everyone,
I have put around 9000 miles on my GS since June, so to say the least im getting a little bored of the local scenery and need to go further afield.
I am in the market for a set of panniers and maybe top box.
Currently the bike has the frame for the bmw panniers installed so if someone has a set of bmw panniers for sale that'd be great. If you have a set including the frame please reply as well .
Or if anyone would have any recommendations, they would also be greatly appreciated
Thanks Jack

The bmw panniers are hard to find at a decent price. I used a set of giant loop siskiu soft bags for a few trips with no issue till a set of bmw panniers came up.

There is no nice way to say it, the F800 GSA has a fat ass. If you put the BMW boxes on you will be about as wide as a small car. I looked at many options then built my own. They fit tight in and have lots of room. Made from 2 mil Aluminum. They are no wider than the handle bars. This is the second set I have made after the first set I said never again, too much work. But this set was much easier because of what I learned on the first set. If you have a few basic tools and know a welder that will weld them up for a reasonable fee and a sheet metal shop to do some bending, you can do it.
I have some pictures but not at this computer. Send me a PM if you want to explore this option.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
