Mezo.. They are just too big for the XT's stock engine...
Maybe a full race engine makeover could work with one of those Keihin.. 101mm high compression piston, reinforced crankshaft, high quality bearings, double forged conrod, larger and titanium valves retainers, springs and seals, lighter flywheel, reinforced clutch basket, racing clutch plate kit and springs, stage3 cam, complete performance exhaust (downpipes and silencer), front and rear suspension, reinforcing the frame.....
The XT wasn't built as a racing bike...not even for supermoto...
It would be way overpriced to do all these upgrades + work and the bike is just too heavy... One would do much better with a CR450F or KTM525SM or even a Honda CR500AF (CR500 engine in a CR450F frame!)
