International Shipping Europe-North America

I've been in contact with multiple shipping companies over the past few weeks and I've been given ruffly the same disappointing answer. Pretty much been given the same answers as RTWPaul :

https://www.advrider.com/us-to-uk-eu...ipping-prices/

But there was one company i came across... MOTORCYCLE EXPRESS
they're hole thing is fly n ride. they offer their services for both Westjet and Air Transat.
here is an example of the Air Transat rates:

Montréal to Paris and flying as passenger on same airline. $1350.USD
Motorcycle Paris to Montréal & flying as passenger on the same airline. $1625.USD

full webiste with ports and rates 2022:
https://www.motorcycleexpress.com/2022ports-rates

This just seems to good to be true with the rates that are going around these days. I have not found any other companies that even come close to these air freight rates. I've also struggled to find information about this company. It all seems legit. does anyone here have any experience with this company? I had almost given up on the idea of bringing my own bike, but maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel?

Couldn't fin a thread on this. Hope i'm not beating a dead horse here.
Thanks Deacon!

Hi,

Paul had mentioned that Air Canada is reviewing their "Ship Your Bike" program at the end of March 2022. It is now April, has either of you contacted them for an updated?

The flyer is online https://www.aircanada.com/cargo/shar...rochure_en.pdf

Cheers,
Benjamin

Hi I heard on ADVrider that they were not going to start up the fly your bike program for 2022, but i just now sent them an e-mail about it. only heard good things about them and the price is really fair.

Thanks for the tip Benjamin!

Asking by mail for a quote to fly my bike from Calgary ( CA) to Paris (FR ) , Air Canada answered dated august 14 2022 that the service doesn’t exist anymore.

Motorcycle Express has been around for a long time. I've used their services several times before (long time ago, about 10 years ago) and have been very happy with them... I would recommend them.

Air Canada says that the service doesn't exist for this year - they're hopeful that it will be back next year. Current rate is 11,000+ Vancouver to Heathrow! Details here.

I have just had a very long chat with Carrie at Motorcycle Express.
She can currently do USD2791 from Vancouver to Heathrow - via Air Canada!
She's working hard to make it happen for travellers and looks to be doing a good job. (Mike passed away in November, so she's on her own)
Prices change, availability changes, nothing is fixed, but check in with her, and be sure to tell her you heard about her from Horizons Unlimited!

We flew into Montreal 5 days ago - our 2 bikes were on the same plane.
We shipped using Motorcycle Express - I can’t recommend them highly enough, carrie is very enthusiastic about helping bikers ship their bikes and answers all emails extremely quickly.

The whole process was seamless and quick. We went from Paris, which was easy and the whole process in Montreal took less than an hour. We left Paris at 10am (local time) and were riding into the gas station, in Montreal, at 5pm (local time).

We flew with Transat airlines who were by far the cheapest but great none the less.
