Arrow Iran USA

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to get into Alaska after visiting Iran, without a Visum, but only with a ESTA ????

Would it be possible if you have a second passport - some governments are relaxed about letting you have a second passport for places like Israel etc. The only thing, I guess, is that if you depart Turkey near Van and then reappear at the Pakistan border the powers that be may be a little suspicious... as they would be if you had left the Israel part of a trip off if you went to Iran /Saudi Arabia etc.

Or you could just make the trip with one passport and go to the US with a clean second one.

You'd have to hope though that the Americans don't know more about you than is in your clean passport.

Also be careful what you share on things like social media, blogs, etc. I was once pulled into the secondary screening at the US border (I had ESTA, but they got very concerned about my Istanbul-originating ticket). As part of the multitude of questions they've asked me were also my Twitter and Facebook accounts. So if your FB page is full of pictures of amazing landscapes of Iran, and in your ESTA you said you've never been there - I guess it can land you in real bad situation.

As others have said:
No.

And lying on your ESTa or other application to USA could introduce you to a whole new world of trouble!

But you can get a 10 year B1 visa instead as I did following Iran tour.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
