Good news for Iran visa.

As Turkey and Iran are visa free for eachother, this work is done for HUBB friends of other citizens to be helpfull after reading several threads about visa problems.

Positive results and someone to listen to you always possible if first steps are done..Just a gift from an old hippy hoping that this will solve some problems..

Still discussing for a no carnet system, same as for Turkey..Not possible for now...Currently there is a lot of paperwork and fee for this. And almost all customs staff dont know how to do vehicle entrance this way.

Black Book says...: """They need to pay an extra fee for entering an engined Vehicle. The amount of this fee is different depending on the type of vehicle."""""""""

According to the written information I got today:
Iran Visa | Online Visa for Iran | $35

1-You can make online application for visa code free and pay the service fee at any agent in the major Iran city when you are in İran.(35 USD.)
So you will not loose money at any problem.

2-With this code number, you can get your visa label at any Iran Embassy/Consulate you will prefer on the form..At this step, you will fill another form and pay the visa fee.

3-For further questions, please contact Mr.Payam.İRAN
info@visairanvisa.com

SOME GENERAL INFORMATION.
1-All tourist must apply for their visa at the right time according to the information provided in our website and they can get the Visa Label at the embassy of Iran.
2-If they entering to Iran by Car or Motorbike, they need to obtain an international transit plate plus an International Driving License before.
3-Driving a Caravan is NOT permitted in Iran.
4-All citizens of United States, need the company of a certified tour guide as soon as they enter to Iran until they leave the country. you can find more details in our website at: Iran Visa | Online Visa for Iran | $35

All the best.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
