I still have this in mind, it just depends on what travel companion I meet. The Europe trip is my alternative including a loop in Russia.
How long is your trip gonna be?

See ya
i'll be travel alone, it's a solitary journey but anyway I like to share few days with other riders and know different people on the way.
The trip gonna take aprox 3 months to arrive to Japan, I try to do that in 2 but with no rush.
All depend about the price of the bike shipping back from Japan, I'm considering different options, even riding back home, I mean until now the quote for the shipping are ridiculous expansive, more than the money I estimate to spent from Spain to Japan.
Its all in "programming mode" for now
pvt on mail me if you want!
See you!

Hi all,

Im in the UK. Ive just started thinking about an overland trip. My preferred destination would be somewhere in SE Asia, but this would be flexible. From my early planning it seems getting past/through Pakistan/India/China will be the difficult bit.

Im currently trying to decide on a bike, but thats a whole different thread :O

Hi,
For me is riding past Pakistan and all those countries too complicated, so I prefer to tackle Russia and Mongolia
What is your time frame?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
