it will be me with a pretty GS and my gf with her trumpet and her fabric panniers

if anyone wants to join us will be more than welcome.

prob. easier to meet on some M1 services or somewhere that I can't miss / get lost..

Hey George.
seem like we may bump into each other !
We should be leaving around 9am (from South London) so expect to be around Luton area on the M1 maybe around 10:30 depending on traffic. Could stop at a service station for a coffee break say btwn 10:15 - 10:45. Is there a convenient and easy to find petrol station on the M1 around Luton airport ?

I love finding slow riders! I am leaving Friday morning on a bike I have only had a few days and am not yet comfy with, so Mike, Maria, George others, if you overtake a chugging along r850 give me a wave!

Thumbs up riding up slowly

Maria

better to arrange meeting on friday morning in case my flight is delayed (flying back in Gatwick at 07.30) leaving London from paddington / maida vale area,

there must be a suitable service station on M1 but don't know which one, <!>
will try "private message" you my mobile number .

Clare

unlikely to overtake you, apparently there is something called national speed limit and my girlfriend insists on sticking at it so I just follow her, so watch out for a triumph and a borred BMW on the slow lane.

will private message my mobile in case you want to meet on the day too.

This detour is about 150 k's extra on the trip so if that suits you by all means join in.

Sunflowers are you joining the ride on thursday? I sent you a reply email but I'm having problems with my email so not sure if you received it.

Mike have you decided yet or is it best to ask you on thursday morning? Oh and hope your able to get to the laundrette to wash your underwear.

Damon
You mention the Peak District - just dont expect any peaks; there are only low hills. It's a bit of a cheat actually..

Thumbs up yeah!

So be it then!

Unless we miss the junction or get lost we will be there (Toddington) too for a coffee! My bike has a HU sticker in the back of the topbox and we will look like ... err ....bikers! Easy enough to spot I think! Sandi/Paul can you make it for that time?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
