Anyone Looking for a Motorcycle in the Republic of Georgia
Its truly a long story, but without a doubt it can be made a short one. My 2005 suzuki V-Strom has become a casualty of an unfinished trip, or will be if someone doesn't get it out of storage before the fees outweigh its value. I rode it from California to Georgia, and left it in wonderful and working condition in February, however, financial limitations have kept me from returning to rescue the motorcycle, and it is currently accruing storage fees by the month. If anyone is looking for a new (used) motorcycle in that area as a replacement bike or to start a new adventure, let me know.
Thanks!
-Greg

May I ask where you were able to store your motorcycle. As I'm looking at doing so for about a month.

The initial post was almost 6 yrs ago, good luck getting an accurate answer! It did cross my mind to ride to Georgia this Spring. Anybody there at the moment or recently by any chance?

I am an American currently in Tbiilsi, Georgia and heading east. Which direction will you be going? I was looking for people to share the costs to get thorough China.

@kenpage6666: Georgia is very appealing. To your knowledge, could a bike be left in storage in Tbilissi or somewhere else for some months without much complications or if it looks like something rather complicated to organize?

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
