BUT the basic rules of polite and civil conduct which everyone agreed to when signing up for the HUBB, will still apply, though moderation will be a LITTLE looser than elsewhere on the HUBB.

LOL.... mmm, muffins....

I've been on HUBB for almost -gasp- 18 years, and I don't recall it ever being much different. Heck, if anything there's more useful info here now than in past years simply due to the increase in the sheer number of posting - you just have to learn to use the search tool to shift through the chaff.

It's just me is n't I'll get me coat.
Mere drivel leaves me somewhat perplexed .
But , and I say this in all sincerity , complete twaddle is infuriating .

To further putting salt in the wounds of the original OP.....

BONES your post has cracked me up, a grown man crying, laughing and choking out loud "IN PUBLIC" has done me a world of good and may have put a chuckle on the faces of people walking by.

So thanks from me and the passing crowd

PS. i'm partial to a good muffin too.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
