Finally - My NEW Bike

I knew it was going to be a BMW F800gs - and that's what I got. Deposit is paid, and I have to travel 5 hours to go pick it up in 2 to 3 weeks. Its too cold to ride here.

2013 BMW F800gs
33,354 KM
LED headlight with protector
GPS and phone mount
Hydraulic clutch
tank bag
upper and lower crash bars
skid plate
Rad protector
electronic controlled rear suspension
Panniers
second installed gas tank
After market rims
back plate for pannier
chain oiler
rear shock protector
installed tool kit holder
Mitas E07's
barkbusters
comfort seat

There is very little I need to do to this bike. Included are a bunch of the OEM parts. Bike mechanic owned, new chain and sprockets. Some scratches - it wouldn't be an adventure bike without those - but this coming winter I'll do a custom paint job.

KRTW is now taking shape in real ways......

My old bike is in the shop getting ready to sell. It'll be ready end of this week. So polish it up, get a safety, and say goodbye. It was a great bike for what it was used for - a 2006 Yamaha Vstar Custom 1100, with Mustang seats, crash bar,/hiway bar, clip on windshield, removable hard panniers, new clutch, and rear brakes plus rotor. 23,300 KM. When I bought it, it had 6240 km. I had the original pipes put on and jets done last year....but still have the loud cobra pipes and jets that go with it, as well as a motorcycle lift, helmets, softbags, 2 unused helmets, manual, 2 covers and more.....

Come on spring!!!

New to Horizons Unlimited?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
