Interesting, WN advertise on the HU homepage and there's a major "health warning" by GJ underneath regarding checking the policy small print.
The following is just conjecture as I don't know the full facts, but reading posts by trustworthy British bike travellers on the HU FB group, WN either only covers UK residents / citizens on bikes to 125cc OR possibly not at all (!!!) if your main mode of transport is a motorcycle...

Yes, we are British bikers travelling in South America. We were insured with Holidaysafe on their specialist motorcycling policy, however they would not renew until we had been back in the UK 6 months. I looked at WN because they advertise that you can take the policy out when already abroad, however when you go to buy the policy and you use the drop-down list to check what's covered (or not) then as a UK citizen the policy does NOT cover you for motorcycles as your main road of transport (of ANY size), motorcycle touring on ANY bike but you can get an add-on to cover trail-riding / off-road riding as an activity during your travel BUT not if it's your main mode of transport or for touring.
It's so sad that this happened and that a fellow UK rider took out an expensive policy which didn't cover him. I just hope any other UK riders do not take out a WN policy accidentaly.
If you are from another country and WN covers you it is said to be really good as my friend busted her knee and they paid everything including surgery, knee braces etc etc. Just not for us Brits.
