Hi Karl,

How much storage capacity do you need, and do you want to make a back-up of all your files?

To give you an example (=my own solution for 12 months on the road):

- 50 pictures max per day = 50*30mb*365= 0,5 terabyte
- say that I convert 5 of these to TIFF and JPG daily = 5*170mb*365= 0,3 tb
- average 5 min of video daily = 5*120*365= 0,2 tb

Adds up to at least 1 terabyte, and 2 tb if you back-up all files (which I certainly would do if I were you).

I use a few mobile hard disks (Western Digital), very compact and light weight.
Of course you would need to carry a small notebook or laptop as well
