Motorcycle storage in Dubai

Hello all

I'm planning a travel from Catalonia to some countries in Middle East, this next May.

But I have a lot of doubts and questions !!

The route:
Turkey, Iran, Dubai, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and ... Israel ?
But I have to do it on 2 stages
I have 2 questions. Maybe somebody can help me ?

I need to store my motorcycle in Dubai or Oman for few months. Or any country easier in the zone.

Can somebody advice me about for one good place ?

And, one time in Jordan, for come back, I don't know if crossing Irak or Siria is safe or better take a ferry in Israel to Greecee.

Thanks to all !!

I'd recommend contacting Duseja Motors. I stored my motorcycle there in the summer. You can contact them at +971 4-3476712 . Their address is :

Warehouse B3, Al Qouz Ind Area 3, Umm Suqeim Road, Dubai, UAE

Good luck!

How are your plans going? I might do a very similar trip later in the year, interested to find out about what your research uncovered.

Do you know for how long can you temporary import a vehicle into the UAE? Im planning to ride for the Qatar world cup, leave my bike in Dubai in December and collect mid 2023. But dont know if this is possible due to this sentence I read on carnet:

The period of temporary importation is fixed by the laws and regulations of the country visited. These must be strictly respected to avoid any incidents or claims as a result of breaking local laws. Therefore the duration spent in the country is out of CARS control.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
