Motorcycle storage London

Hello guys!
Nice to meet you, I am Rodrigo from Chile and I am in the middle of my dream: Crossing the globe on my F 800 GS.

I started 5 years ago in California and I cross the hole continent to my country Chile and then till Tierra del Fuego. That takes me about a year, after that I keep moving around throw Argentina and finally after many organization I sent my motorcycle to Europe with my girlfriend and my little jack russel Jacko! It was a real adventure… We cross together 22 countries of Europe in about 3 months… the best trip ever. Finally we end the route in London and I left my motorcycle up there in the house of a friend. My plan is to keep moving forward this October to North Cape in Norway and then keep moving to Asia!

My problem now is that my friend is going to live outside the country and I need a place to send my motorcycle for 2 months before I arrive. Do you know someone who has space in London or nearby to leave my motorcycle safe while I return? I will be truly grateful for life!

I use this platform because I know that I can find real overlanders who understand my situation more than anyone ...

Yo can check our instagram account: @jackothetraveler and my account is @rodrilow.motoadv

Thank you!

If you don't mind it being outside, I will happily let you park it next to my bike in Wandsworth, south west London (about 5 miles from the centre).

It's off street parking with a gate to access the parking lot. There is pedestrian access around the gate (so a thief could push the bike out of the parking lot). It is a quiet area and my bike is usually hidden behind other vehicles. Maybe other people have a more secure option. Motorcycle theft is common in London so I would encourage you to seek the most secure option available to you.

I'm not a "real overlander" (yet!) but I am happy to help if no better options present themselves.

I can send some pictures of the parking lot if it would help.

That sounds like an incredible trip, you are truly living the dream!

Like motchen, if you don't mind it being outside, I have some space at my place.

I live in Kingston upon Thames (southwest London, so about 16 kms/10 miles from Waterloo station), and on a quiet residential street, in a refurbished mill that has been converted into 2 flats. There's security gate with a key fob that only myself, my neighbour, and my landlord have access to. Even when the gate is open, you can't see my bike from the street.

Also, if you have a battery trickle charger that you want to hook up, that can be easily set up.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
