Smile 2nd HU Switzerland Aug 16-19

Our good friends and world travellers Heike and Filippo Fania have volunteered to host the 2nd HU Switzerland Travellers Meeting from 16-19 Aug, 2018.

We have a fantastic venue with all the facilities we need in beautiful surroundings in the heart of Switzerland. There are great motorcycling roads nearby and the Alps at your doorstep, with the famous Furka, Grimsel, Susten or Klausen Pass roads only a few kilometres away.

Online registration is open now with early bird rates! Just a few pics from HU Switzerland 2017 - thanks Heike!

Filippo Fania's troubleshooting workshop at HU Switzerland 2017.

Horizons Unlimited t-shirts always a popular item - especially in pink! ;-)

There's a story here - ask Filippo to tell it to you!

Online registration is open now with early bird rates!

Hello Colin

I will certainly ride down through Limousin and Provence, not the shortest way I know, but I love that. Leaving Dieppe 4 or 5 days before and head down to south Italy after the meeting. I will attend the first Italian HUM mid September on my way up, and should be back home for end of September.
Not easy way, isn't it?

Cheers all
Roger.

Route

I am arriving in Dieppe Tuesday 05.00, after looking at the map last night i am now thinking of getting through France and down towards Mullhouse in a day , giving me more time to tour around the Alps.
Dieppe to Mullhouse in a day not using tolls / motorways, ?.

Dieppe to Mulhouse

Well, if you want to do it quickly the route is via motorways, be careful at the toll when paying, be sure you're taxed as a motorcycle not a car, I think it's class 5 and cars are class 1. For myself I have removed motorway from my GPS since years now. Be careful too in Switzerland not to use toll road without the road tax label on your screen

Have you always wondered how heavy your fully loaded bike actually is? Now at HU Switzerland 2018 you will have the opportunity to find out! Thanks to the company Jungheinrich Schweiz, who is kindly providing a forklift with a build in scale. You will be able to weigh your bike, empty, fully loaded, or with you on top. Weighing of the bikes will be available throughout the event!

Check out the programme and please register online at http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/eve...itzerland-2018

Gerade angemeldet. Seit Wochen versucht meine Dienste wegzutauschen und heute endlich Erfolg gehabt! Freue mich riesig!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
