Smile 2nd HU South Africa meeting Nov 12-15, 2015
We're pleased to announce the 2nd HU South Africa meeting will be happening! Kobus Fourie will be hosting this event again at his fabulous Elgro River game lodge and conference centre near Potchefstroom. What an awesome venue, wonderful people, and wildlife!

Kobus is planning a very special activity for 2015 - a GAME RIDE (don't worry, no predators, just zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, kudus and much more!)

Online registration is open now! Early bird rates until April 30!

We'll be there, hope to see you there!

WOOHOO! Excellent. After a month in SA, the HU was definitely a highlight of my tour!

Sorry we're so slow, but this event is now open for registration! Early bird rates until April 30, 2015! For 2015, Kobus has promised a Game RIDE for the first 50 sign-ups!

I think this needs to be moved into a new, HU meets in AFRICA, as opposed to hidden in Other Parts of the World... It's going to be GREAT this year. (couldn't find an animal emoticon. ;-)

Hi,

Just a reminder that if you haven't registered already for the 2015 Horizons Unlimited South Africa meeting, there's still time! Online registration closes at midnight on 5 November - that's tomorrow!

You told us that you love to see the pics and hear the travel stories, but you really need practical information to help you make your own adventure! We hear you, and we've got a great mix of travel tales and practical advice sessions that will inspire you AND get you ready for your (next) trip. For example...
  • Kevin Davis, who filmed and produced the fantastic 2014 HU South Africa meeting trailer, will share the secrets of shooting, editing and producing high quality video while on the road.
  • Gareth Jones came to the 2014 meeting at the start of his 6-month solo journey through 10 countries in southern Africa on a 1951 Harley Panhead, and is back with great pics and stories!
  • Johan Gray, one of the best Dual Purpose riders and coaches in South Africa, will help you improve your riding skills.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
