Hi Simon
Cheap and very easy to install. Better than worrying about fixing the @ tripmeter. I've been there too and said "Oh F*ck it", I can't be arsed. I assume you're with www.HondaTrailBikeForums, for huge info on @s.
If you install the bicycle computer, measure the diameter of your front wheel and apply that measurement to the chart provided in the instructions, to get the right setting. You may need to make a doobry,(of coathanger wire, or snipped-up can, eg) fixed to the bolt which fixes the mudguard to the fork legs, to bring the sensor near the spoke-mounted magnet.
You might find a problem with the @ spoke thickness in fitting the magnet - it is intended for thin-spoked bicycles. Each brand is different, so I can't say more. Bodge it. Use any other magnet if you mess it up. This explanation is more detailed than actually doing it.
I like the unconventional style of your blog and its good pics. I'm shocked, though, that you have with you a Sonny Barger T-shirt. His dodgy bikes and criminal culture are not attractive. You could instead have a T-shirt sporting an image, say, of a big-breasted woman, so pleasing on the eye, instead of ugly old Sonny, necessarily a turd burglar of the US "correction" system. So, why?... I think we should be told. Try Hunter S Thompson if you want a literate, progressive antihero. Or Dan Walsh, come to think of it. Minus the breasts of course.
Buen viaje
