I hope that's not too late for suggestions.
So I think that if you are interested in WWII you should see also Warsaw (however the city itself is not so spectacular). We have here the best history museum (new style). It's about the Warsaw Uprising in 1944 - check the site Warsaw Rising Museum Also a huge Jewish and Catholic "Powązki" cementery here with beautiful sculptures and a lot of history. ...and the lovely Palace of Culture (our biggest gift from Stalin) - the only one in Poland. In old USRR the have a lot of them everywhere.
You should also see the Hel peninsula with some germans fortifications, bunkers and rocket launchers. Near Łeba you can see the old german polygon in Rębka with V1 and V2 rockets launchers - eg. RHEINNTOCHTER
If you need a garage in Warsaw I have one. I can also show you around if I have time. Have a nive trip in Poland! Do not forget to buy enough Żolądkowa Gorzka - Wódka ¯o³±dkowa Gorzka
