Well turns out that the rotor was really the culpret. SUZ dealer here took there sweet time to pop the case open and take a looksee. About half the magnents had broken free and disintegrated!
With help from my stateside shop I was able to get the last rotor in the U.S. and had then ship DHL. Just a waiting game now. If shop had cracked the cover This ALL could have happened a little sooner. Ordered new stator - R/R from rectifierregulator.com and they were very helpful to get it shipped here.
ANY ADVISE ON WHAT OR WHERE THE MAGNET FRAGMENTS MIGHT END UP IN THE MOTOR AND WHAT PERCAUTIONS THE MECHANIC SHOULD TAKE TO CLEAN / ELIMINATE??????????????
