Twice upon a Caravan
This is a documentary compiled from motion film footage shot by Robert Fulton during his 1932-33 solo journey around the globe on a Douglas motorcycle. Narrated by Fulton himself. Produced by Searchlight Films and available by mail order from Whitehorse Press, who have reprinted Fulton's 1937 book about his odyssey, 'One Man Caravan'.
To see the world as he saw it almost seventy years ago and to hear this thoughtful man reflect on it now is an amazing, not-to-be-missed experience. Twice Upon A Caravan has been given a rave review by Larry Woods on CNN's Across America. 'an hour long portrait . . . really first-class stuff. Sorry I don't know of any other suppliers in Europe that carry it, only the two American ones. See http://www.aerostich.com/one-man-caravan-and-twice-upon-a-caravan-save-5... and get the book and DVD. It's a great story, I have both the original book and VHS tape - well worth it!
I live in Europe. Whitehorse Press is American. If I buy this DVD, I have to pay extra taxes and frontier taxes, about 30% extra. Can I order this DVD somewhere in Europe please?
