The most trouble we had was getting the bike into Singapore as they would not accept the carnet until we got an endorsement stamp from Singapore AA (but you might not need that if you enter on the weekend) so the only place to get this stamp is in Singapore and they won't allow you to leave the bike at the border to get it but send you back to Malaysia to enter without the bike and go by bus, then return to Malaysia, collect the bike and you're there, a total headache.

We first went direct to Seng Hin on Defu lane 9 and they made up the crate in two hours on the spot and were extremely helpful, and organised to have it fumigated there also.

May Lim was a great help and will make in advance also if you email the sizes, for sea or air. They allowed us to store the crate there until our agent picked it up. Gilbert was very efficient as our shipping agent.

In Australia things were easy enough as everything is accessible and efficient.

shipping 140 Euro
crate 69 Euro
fumigation 45 Euro
aqis(quarentine) 71 Euro
facility charge 38 Euro
customs oz 120 Euro

you then need to get a CTP(compulsory third party) insurance or green slip which cost 180 AUD for six months at SunCorp and then a Overseas Vehicle Permit at any motor registration office which is free.
