I have not actually bought any engine parts for the bike yet as I was going to change the oil first with the correct amount and see what happens,if that fails I was then going to take the top end off and see what is going on in there.
The company that I was going to get the parts from are in Germany and it is possible to make the order online with them or phone it through as their staff speak English plus they post worldwide.
Couldn`t believe my luck when I stumbled onto their website, they seem to specialize in everything XT/TT/TTR/SR,they have a downloadable parts catalogue that actually shows pics of the parts and order numbers..great company if you are into these type of bikes.
KEDO - Performance Products is the website.
Regarding the last reply to my thread...some one else mentioned oil draining back into the sump overnight..started looking into it and found out that there is an engine oil valve that is fitted somewhere that stops this problem happening.
This valve consists of a ball bearing a spring and a seal, but I have no idea where it is located..maybe I should buy one from Kedo and try that first instead of stripping my engine.
Cheers
Paul.
