you made the opposite adapting a "K" engine on a "E" bike, changed ignition unit with engine, this is necessary, and regulator\rectifier. Ignition coil can work, (or not) but TCI and CDI have different coils, risking your ignition unit using the wrong coil is not best thing to do, considering that coil is the cheapest part.
