What's happened to CRD?

After buying a CRD bash plate which didn't arrive in time so it got returned, my engine met a rock at the weekend. The rock won.

Now I need that bash plate but the CRD website doesn't work and I can't find a number. Does anyone have and details for them (or a bash plate for sale ... and a generator cover).

Or else I'll call Dave Lambeth.

1997 cross-over, 3TB engine and 4PT frame.

CRD Bashplate

I had the same problem last year and ended up emailing them. They put me in touch with the British distributor and I purchased one through them. They had to order it from France but the system worked.

Details are:

Rapid Moto Distribution

T: 01935 863 988
W: www.rapid-moto.com
E: info@rapid-moto.com
@: RapidMotoUK

Unit 6, Barrows Hill Farm, East Chinnock, Somerset, BA22 9EY

Hope this helps.

CRD are no longer in business

CRD are no longer in business and there moulds have been bought by Metasystems. Some products have been phased out, I don't know if the XT600E bash plate is one of them.

If people want bash plates the market may be drying up.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
