Arrow silencer is oK for road use. It doesn't say ""for off road use only" on mine and the MoT tester says he can't fail therefore.
If you are rich, DEP in Maidstone can make a system. A couple of year ago I popped in to ask and was quoted well over £300.

Hey guys, I also have to replace my can, on xt600z 1vj, I dont really care about preformance, since our yamahas are already slightly underpovered. I am building a low-budget bike, so Ive been looking at theese chinese aftermarket universal exhausts, somethng like this:

https://m.ebay.com/itm/Exhaust-Muffl...0AAOSw-09aNheb

Looks good, and the price is ok. Does anybody have any experiance, are they ok, or is it a total waste of money?

Thanks for any reply.

Be careful buying from a seller like this, it says 3 sales and feedback like this: the shipment arrived badly packed and damaged. I have no connection with seller.

Find a better seller and iam sure you can find a cheap muffler that will do the job.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
