Hmmm. I think the weight is pretty much the same. They "feel" the same anyway.
The XT600 that I used burned about 1 litre for every 160km. The 660R will be MUCH better for this and considering the miles, it will pay for itself..
I've JUST arrived in South Africa after riding from the Uk and If I had to chose a bike, id DEFFO get the newer 660R !! The roads are LONG.....
Either way.... Both are great bikes ! You're gonna have a blast !
