You could go with the 98mm, if you need to change piston again, you can install a new sleeve, and start over from 95mm and up.
As for compression, you can choose a lower compression piston, and have the cylinder head machined down to raise compression. Or you can go with the 11,5:1 piston and install an extra basegasket to reduce compression a bit.
The 98mm piston should be somewhat identical in weight to a stocker.

I just installed a stock 96mm piston in mine, and cant stop wondering how fun it would have been with a "better" piston...
