Gear lever for TT600RE?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a new gear lever for my '04 TT600RE. The dealer wants 60+ euros and more importantly a long time (I'm on the road in Europe, headed to Africa, and don't want to wait around- would rather Ebay a part and send to a friend on my route). Would a WR450 lever do? Would any other lever work?

Thanks!

I think all the TT's xt's are fairly the same.

Something like this, if it doesnt have to be some fancy colored alloy: Yamaha Belgarda XT550 XT600 XT TT600 TT Tenere Gear lever shift pedal assembly | eBay

Look at the attached picture.

All the mentioned models use the same shift assembly. So the diameter of the spline where the shift lever mounts is the same.

Shift levers from those models will be interchangeable. Only thing that differs is if its foldable, rubber clad, etc.

I don't know if other Yamaha models will fit though...the shift assembly might be different but the spline diameter still be the same as your bike.

The lever I ordered (eBay link above) didn't fit exactly, it had to be bent out a little bit. Not a huge deal but still annoying.
