fit a 'proper' tensioner
Go to your local 'trials' shop and buy a chain tensioner for about £14.
There is a bit of jiggerypokery to adapt to fit the xt. Oh, and whilst you're at it, you will have to junk that waste of money x or o-ring chain and fit an ordinary 520. (iris 520rx is good). As we all know, it is the torque /jerkiness of the final drive that kills our chains not so much the lack of lube.
Fitting details can be provided if required.
