HI in response to the question what may be a good dual sport bike for a 5ft.6" lass the BMW r850r r1150r could be a poss choice i bought one two years ago they have the same frame as the 1150 gs but have a lot lower seat height iv put avon distanzia dual sport tyres on so apart from a lower ground clearance its proved to be a very capable bike gravel roads grassy tracks etc makes a great alternative to the mega tall gs for maybe half the price There is also a lower seat option and as for accesories a lot of gs1150 bits fit another good point as i found out on a BMW off road course (highly recomended) if u drop one off road they only go to about 45 degrees as they rest on the pots makes picking it up again far easier
