It is also amusing to consider that Triumph pioneered the vertical twin ,which is the engine type used in the BMW f800 GS ,and that BMW went with conventional chain drive and suspension for the 800 .
Maybe Fritz was short of ideas ,'cos he bought engines from Bombardier as well .
But on a more serious note ,let's hope the Triumph has usable torque and a nice low first gear for plonking .
If not ,well then it's just another psuedo "adventure" marketing niche bike .
