As a travel bike, not worth a second look IMHO.
As the modern fashion, basically the VFR800 replacement for weekend riders who might get a fortnight in Spain, it looks fun. Pricing would decide for me, Triumph do good value loss leaders one minute then switch to "Premium brand" mode and you find they want a grand more for a Tracer with a different badge.
For me the "ADV" tag has become meaningless. You'd no more take a one of these to Africa than you would have a Guzzi Quota in the 90's, or enter a VFR in the TT. These are road bikes the marketing people have labelled as "Aspirational" or some such rubbish. Enjoy them for what they are.
