unleaded fuel in Iran

Hello ,
I search the internet, but I did´nt find no up to date informations about unleaded fuel in Iran. Is there anyone in Iran and let me know if unleaded fuel is available all over the country ?
"Bedun e Sorb" should be the name of the unleaded fuel.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Wolfgang,

this is no certain information but might be an indicator. I travelled Iran last October.
To be fair I didn't paid much attention since I'm riding a older Africa Twin.
But I've met several people on newer KTM 990/1190 and GS1200 and at least no one complaint about problems

Im stuck in Dubai at the moment for a while to raise the budget and am likely to still be here in October so give me a shout in case this is your after-Iran destination

Have fun in Iran, awesome place!!
Manuel

Hi Wolfgang
We are now in Iran on two BMW f 650gs twin (800cc)
The fuel is unleaded in three options as far as we find out and were told.
octane 95 is the green hose and is 12000 real /ltr
octane 91 is the blue hose and is 10000 real /ltr
octane 85 is the red hose and is 7000 real/ltr

The green and blue is not sold everywhere but frequent enough. and there is always octanebooster sold in many places and fuel stations. We had no problems so far to find the right fuel. we drive 350-400 km on one tank.

kind regards

I am now returned from Oman and let me say something about the fuel.
I didn`t find a lot of stations who sell 95 octane. I couldn`t find out if the fuel is unleaded or not. But with the octanebooster, I had a range of over 500 km and my bike need only 4,3 L, usually it´s 5-6 Liter. When the bike is back from Dubai (shipping by container) I will check the Kat and write here, if he is ok or dead :-) .
Regards
