Tehran engine oil

Hello I hope someone can help.
I am currently in Tehran with my motorcycle. It is in need of an engine oil change sooner rather than later. This morning I rode around for 45km searching for motorcycle oil but all I found was car oil.
Can someone please advise where I can buy quality motorcycle engine oil in Tehran?
I prefer full or semi sinthetic 15w50 or 20w50 for example.
Thanks in advance.
Ewan.

Hello,

We entered Tehran some days ago. Needed oil change as well.
Found some info here and like to share my experience:

Nouriani Enterprises (BMW importer) is closed: phone numbers and email don't work anymore.

Gomrok (Razi Square) is the place to go. There are a lot of bike shops and part dealers.
With the help of a random shop owner, we found Ghaders shop (35.687202°,51.428838°). Ghader has Motul and Motorex oil in all the common specifications. Unlike the other shops, his shop is clean and organized. He even has original Yamaha XT oil filters and organized a BMW car oil filter for my F800. He has chain spray as well! His people were very friendly, they bought us lunch while we were waiting. Ghader doesn't really speak english, so just show up with your bike and he will understand what you need (or a customer will translate).

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
