Pakistan visa questions re invitation

We (family of 4) are going to Pakistan for 16 days in May (hopefully - visa permitting!). Planning to stay in Hunza, Skardu, Gilgit and KKH. So should we get invitation for visa? or from travel agent/ visa agency and nominate the accommodation names when dealing with them? Any recommendation? Thanks for any help you can give on this.

Visa for Pakistan was not easy for me. I applied at LA consulate and it took two months and rejected. Then I used services of Vertical Explorers Tours Adventure & Activity Holidays, Tours & Travel | Vertical Explorers Tours visa and on ground arrangements and it worked very well.

I can highly recommend Vertical Explorers for LOI as well as trips there!

Check out this new item. I won't know the details but can find them out for you. We are in Hunza and would love to have you over for a cup of tea when you are here!

It says you get visa on arrival if you are traveling through a list of tour operators! I can find out detailed information if required

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
