to get near to India (currently in the UAE) and so the remaining time on my India visa won't give me the time I want to explore India. I was assuming I could happily ride into India and pick up a visa extension on the way. But have just read in very tiny, blurred print, on the bottom of my visa the words: "Tourist visa non-extendable" which seems pretty clear.
