Bangkok? Some questions...
Hi Folks!
We stay in Bangkok for the next 15 or up to 20 days. And we want to organize the next transport for our Honda Africa Twin from here to Kathmandu in Nepal by air. We also have to look for the next visas...
- Question 1: Somebody here to organize the transport together (much cheaper then)?
- Question 2: Which Cargo Company is recommended? I have had a look on the Shipment Page, but still interested in recommendations.
- Question 3: Who know a motorbike shop here in Bangkok to get some Spare Parts (Spark Plugs, Oilfilter, Backtyre, Mirrors and so on) for a Honda Africa Twin?
- Question 4: Where is a place to wash (or let wash) the bike, as close as possible to Khao San?
- Question 5: Is there a agency who organize visas for Iran and Pakistan? We only found a lot of agencies for India, but not more in this direction?
- Question 6: What about the time to spend for a visarun for Iran, and how long does it take for one for Pakistan, if we have to do it by ourself? We are germans...
We know, that this a lot of questions, but we are happy for each answers that is helpful.
So, Thanks a lot for your help!
All the Best and safe Travels

Getting Iran Visa takes a little more than two weeks.
I tried to get a Pakistan visa in BKK, but it was not possible to get a tourist visa and the German embassy did not not what letter to issue. In Kathmandu it is easy, a matter of three days (including letter of non-objection from the German embassy), so try it there.
Regards
Lars

Interesting situation
We try to fly towards each other - I come to a standstill in Pakistan too
By the way, yesterday me have told about cheap airlines between Bangkok and Dakka in Bangladesh.
And I once received the Pakistan visa in India, in Delhi.
Regards
Dmitry

Thank you so far!
Hi, you both!
Dmitry: May we meet us somewhere? We think to fly to Nepal between 5th. and 10th.07.
Thank you so much
More advice and ideas: Allways welcome!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
