Smile Harald from Germany, hello to everyone

I am Harald from South Germany, I am 61 Years old and a old biker with hundredthousands kilometers on his back
My new plan is a motorcycle trip from Germany to Australia, I have 2 options to come to Thailand, ride to Vladivostok and ship the bike by sea to Bangkok or drive trough China which is for me the better idea.
I search a lot in the net and I found a agency which is located in China, they tell me about small overlander groups between 1-6 vehicles (bikes and cars) for a reasonable price, for example from Mongolia to Laos which is my favorite.
Do anybody know this agency www.erlebnisreisenchina.com ?
does anyone have experience with them?
I will be happy when I can get some information about them
regards
Harald

Hi Harald

Welcome to the HUBB.

I suspect that the easiest route of your two choices is going to be via China at the moment as there des not seem to be any ferries going from Vladivostok at the moment - there have been a number of people wanting to do similar things but I haven’t seen anybody posting of success lately. Have you considered flying the bike to Bangkok from Vladivostok?

Otherwise I think you are stuck with going through China.

Hi Harald,

In case you ever make it to WA, you are welcome, as we come from Bavaria, have been here for centuries, ridden in many countries and am still riding, but mainly in the SW of WA. Which has a lot to offer.

Just send me a PM, to make closer contact.

Servus.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
