You're welcome! Sometimes it's a struggle, and it costs me a lot of hair... at least that's my excuse . A simple DNS issue wasted over a day to find, but we got it in the end. Still more issues but working through. If anyone finds ANY issues please report it here. I still don't QUITE have my mail working, but that's next on my list.
Thanks for your support!

Travel Stories - image upload fails

Hi Grant,

Not sure if I am doing something wrong or uploading images to the Traveler Stories isn't working since migrating to a new provider.

I trying to add a photo to a Traveler Stories post and the attempt fails. The image is a PNG format, 800 × 583 pixels, 861 KB (861,451 bytes).

Error message: The file could not be uploaded.

Let me know if the feature is working or if you can confirm it is not...

cheers,
Peter Bodtke

So far, so good.
Hopefully we are free from the database errors we always had early in the mornings GMT on the old host. They where no big deal but unpleasant.

That should have been weekends only, but yes it was very annoying - but we HAD to backup in case it all went pear shaped. Now we have a much more robust system, so no big problem like before. Good to hear it's working well for you!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
