Shipping South Korea to Thailand October 2015

Hello
Thought I,d write my account of shipping my Motorcycle from South Korea to Thailand.
Cost US$1100 for a RO-RO vessel from Busan to Port Laem Chabang and 1577 Bhat ( US$45 ) in fees in Thailand.
Took 10 days for the ship too travel from Busan to Port Laem Chabang.

Wendy Choi arranged it for me , only had e-mail contact with her and never actually met her up in Seoul.
She gave me a choice of two sailing dates on RO-RO vessels ( Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics ) ) and as I intended to use the sailing time to return home to do jobs at home left my motorcycle down at the wharf some 10 days before sailing. Left the key in it ( required ) and a bike cover over it.
When I met the arranged customs broker at the Port at Busan he arrived five minutes early , entered the port , handed over my Korean papers too customs and parked up my bike. 25 minutes later I was dropped outside bus station. Done for Korea.

Paid Wendy Choi from home when the ship had departed.

Arrived into Thailand a few days after the vessel arrived.

Went to the Wallenius Wilhelmsen office in Bangkok (next to German Embassy) to complete the paper work to pick the MC up 1200 Bhat fee.
Bangkok to Pattaya bus 115 Bhat and a 300 Bhat MC taxi too Port Laem Chabang terminal A1 where NYK auto Logistics is at the Cruise ship terminal who took me around to the Thai customs offices for the "Simplified Customs Decalaration Form " which took several hours. Might want to take some snacks.

Customs fee was 200 Bhat and a fee with NYK was 177 Bhat.

Dropped off some paper work as I left Port exit at the South exit and on too the Thai roads.

So very easy with Wendy Choi , just a exchange of e-mails.
NYK were very helpful taking me around the Customs offices and had a air compressor as my back tyre needed air.
Wallenius Wilhelmsen customer care provided printed maps of where to go for me and in Thai.

Very happy with the service.

Seems to be a real shortage of peoples accounts on the Hubb with the shear numbers of people that need shipping and importance.

Written a shipping account?

Hello

Hope you have written a shipping account.
People need them.
I,m figuring most people don,t like too write their shipping account because they feel they have paid way too much too make public.
I,ve got three more shipping's to do before I get home and finding up to date information takes a lot of research and time up.
Getting reports from those leaving from Japan and those who have caught the ferry from Korea ( Busan ) to Japan are in short supply.
