Hey Alex,

My plan's have changed a bit. looking at late August early September now. The boats leave every 3 weeks roughly and there is one on the 20th of August but I'd be pushing to make this one. The timetables change a bit so will have to get in contact with the shipping company to see if the timetable has changed.

How flexible are you with a leave date?

Hey...
That´s alright thanks.
I have got managed my shipping over to Dili on 9th of July.
The Vessel takes 2/3days and i should get pick up the bike about 15th.
I did everything above ANL and a Broker here in Darwin which cost me about 800AD in total.
Cheers and safe travels

No worries,

Did you share a container? Do you have a contact for the broker?

Cheer

No drama, really. Jason needs a lot of following up with, though. There is not really a "good agent" more than there is just one. ANL contact was Jason when we did it.

Just keep in mind that everything takes longer than expected. ANL wants to fill the container one week in advance and the ships are notoriously late. Our shipment took 4 weeks from cut-off to rolling out of Dili bond yard.

I know others flew to Bali to wait since it was much cheaper than Dili.

Cheers,
Florian

See Customs first with all their documents – Bill of Lading and Carnet.
Customs are located in town:
Customs House
21 Lindsay Street
Darwin NT 0800
1300 558 287
830am to 5pm

Book Quarantine inspection, Customs should have already faxed or emailed their documents through.
Quarantine will then generate their entry number (it usually starts with Q20 then followed by a further 6 numbers ) and invoice. This will need to be paid prior to booking the inspection.

Quarantine are located at the airport:
1 Pederson Road (corner Henry Wrigley Road)
Eaton (Marrara) NT 0812
08 8998 4940 – This number automatically puts you through to the Cairns office
830am to 4pm

The customers will need to let us (PJ's Customs) know when the inspection is booked.

All containers into Australia have to be externally inspection by Quarantine prior to being released from the wharf. This inspection is booked by Patricks Stevedoring. The last couple of Dili containers have taken 3-4 days after vessel availability until they have been booked.

FYI – underbond will not click over to ‘approved’ until this is done.
