Getting my bike from Denmark to the US
Can any body help me with a contact to somebody who can get my bike from Denmark (or near denmark) to San Fransisco (or some where else near)?
Alternatively i could ship it to Mexico.
I have tried many shipping companies, but none of them wants to do it..
I am interested both in sea and air freight.
Thanks, Ida

Call Motorcycle Express, or look at their website. That is the easiest, fastest, and simplest way of moving a motorcycle across the Atlantic.
The very cheapest way would be to ride it to Paris and air-freight it from Paris to Canada (either Toronto or Montreal), then ride the darn thing across the continent to California. The next cheapest way would be to ship it as far west in Canada as you can, then ride south from there.
Once you start shipping into the United States, the price goes up quite a bit. This has to do with the availability of a large amount of cubic space but only a small amount of weight capacity (the perfect formula for cheap motorcycle shipping by air) on Air Transat, a large charter carrier who fly from Europe to points in Canada.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
