Europe to Japan or South Korea
Hello,
I live in France, I want to go to Japan at the end of March / beginning of April 2023 and travel there for about three months before continuing to Korea, Vietnam and more...
I am looking for a freight forwarder to package and ship my motorcycle to Japan or South Korea by air.
Has anyone done this before and/or know the name of a company?
Thanks,
Gilles

Have a look first if you are allowed to drive a vehicle with a foreign license plate in South Korea.

And then maybe look into whether you'll be able to get your bike into Vietnam.

Great plan, but both Japan and Korea are super-densely-populated countries with excellent public transport options, and Vietnam is very easy to buy or rent a local bike in. So, absolutely make the trip, but leave your bike at home and rent something locally when you want to go to a place where the bullet train won't reach.

Merci

if i understand it right?you want to do an organised bike tour in kyoshu??
it is quite easy to rent a bike in japan and find accomodation.
i did it on a sr 400,more than enough power.
only thing you have to get a translation from japanese autombile club for your
international driver license.
the aerea around aso kuju national park very nice.

Japan is a great place to start a trip out of your comfort zone. It is very safe and civilized. You will feel confused, but will not be in any real danger.
