Container Share: shipping from COLOMBIA to EUROPE May2016

Hi,
we have 2 Honda C90 scooters, which we have to ship. We have a 20 ft container that we can fill up with at least 2 more bikes. The container will cost $1860 dollars including our 2 bikes. Every extra bike is additional $120 (agent's fee for arranging documents).
Such are the prices for Livorno, Italy.
But we are flexible, other options available:
Hamburg, Germany: USD2050,
Fos Sur Mer, France: USD1860,
Le Havre or Antwerpen: USD2050.

The container is W2.2×H2.28xL5.9m, the two of our scooters take up 1.8m of the container length, the rest 4.1m is left empty...

The journey maths -
with 3 people it will cost (USD2050+120)/3= 723 dollars
with 4: 2290/4 = $572.5 .. and so on.. the more, the merrier...

This includes all the services provided (including paperwork done by Luis Ernesto) at the port in Cartagena. Extra port costs may come at the port of arrival.
The paperwork can be done at any day, starting at 11days before departure, the bike has to be readily available 4 days before the actual shipping.

We would like to ship the bikes at any given time, but no later than the end of May 2016.
The bikes have to be there a few days before to put them in the container.
There is no need to crate the bikes, they will be strapped in the container with the help of Luis. He provides the straps etc

We are now in Cartagena and will continue staying here until the shipment is arranged.*

Please feel free to pm me for any additional information ruta[aatt]live [ddoott]ie

Looking forward to hearing from you fellow bike riders so we could help each other out.

Safe travels,

Ruta

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
