Hi Dave, I guess you are talking about bikes with an Australian registration....we we have now gone into Turkey twice. First time with NSW plates second time was earlier this year with the same bikes but Queensland plates. Seems that we needed the carnets both times but a lot of people do seem to get in with out a carnet. It also seems to me that the bikes that dont need a carney are registered in the EU so that could be the difference. It is hard to get a fast ruling on that one.
