Info: One month E-visa for Azerbaijan

Info: One month E-visa for Azerbaijan

Here is the way I (German passport) got a one month tourist E-visa (65 Usd) for Azerbaijan without going to an embassy in August 2015.

A biker friend recommended Pasha Travel and send me this websites

Azerbaijan visa

PashaTravel

I send a request to Pasha Travel and got an answer just hours later. All communication with Pasha Travel was done over email without delay.

NORMAL E-VISA:
Price is 65 USD (non-refundable) per person
Processing period: 7-15 working days

URGENT E-VISA:
Price is 165 USD (non-refundable) per person
Processing period: 3-5 working days

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS (same for both types of e-visa):

- scanned copy of valid passport, i.e. personal information page with photo (a passport must have at least 2 blank pages for entry stamps)
- recently shot color photo on the plain background
- scanned copy of air ticket or train ticket (whatever you use to enter Azerbaijan, not need when you arrive by ferry, write "BY FERRY" in Point 20 of the application form)
scanned hotel confirmation for the entire stay (Please note that your hotel confirmation should be on the hotel's letterhead signed and stamped. I mean this format is most trustful for the local migration bodies. So, if you booked it via Booking.com, Expedia or else, please contact the hotel and ask them to provide you with the official confirmation, like I described above)

- filled-out and scanned Visa Application form (attached)
- completed CreditCard authorization form for payment (attached)
- copy of relevant credit card (front/back)

IMPORTANT! All the scans should be in JPEG format not more than 1MB each.

USEFUL INFORMATION: Once e-visa is issued, we will email it to you in A4 format so that you can print it out (in color) and keep it handy for customs and migration officers while entering the country (either arriving by air or by land by sea).

The hotel booking I did over booking.com for the whole month of my stay. After this I asked the hotel to send me a signed and stamped confirmation, which they did within a few hours. After I got the visa I canceled the booking without paying anything.

About ten days after Pasha Travel had all my documents by email and started the process, I received the one month tourist visa by email and only had to print it out. No problems entering Azerbaidjan with it, they only asked about the hotel I would stay.

So, this was my first E-visa ever and it was easy. Because it was a straight forward process and Pasha Travel answered to all my questions within hours, I can recommend Pasha Travel. I am in no way connected to Pasha Travel, I am just a customer that wrote this to help others here on the HUBB.

Greetings from Baku
mika

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
