and what about the rain saison in Bolivia? I thought it is there right now?
I remeber us waiting till it was over before we went to the Alti-plano and the Salar. And evene for us in may the Salar was still to wet to cross, we just drove into it but we where not able to cross it.

Yes I think your right! I've been told that now a couple of times. So due to that and also a lack of time I'm going to go straight to Peru... Bolivia will have to be on the list for my next trip

I wont be the first to say it but,
Bolivia has a lot to offer, and though you're on your own schedule, I would recommend at least hauling ass through it. Riding up to La Paz, Bolivia is a good experience.
Either way, keep up the good work!

Hi Ollie,
My brother and I are on our way down towards Ushuaia. Let's keep in touch and meet for a when our paths cross. We can exchange routes and stories and advice!
If you're not already couchsurfing, you should be! www.couchsurfing.org - a superb way to meet locals and get to know the culture.
We're in Manzanillo, Mexico right now. The map on our blog is automatically updated with our location whenever we're moving.
Cheers,
Jayne

No idea how long it will take us, we're been on the road for 6 months and are still in Mexico!
We'll keep our Mexico maps for you. :-)

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
