TRIP ARGENTINA TO ALASKA -COMPANY WANTED
Hi,
I´m a 28 spanish biker planning a 6-8 months trip from Ushuaia to Alaska starting around Dec. 2000.
I drive a R1100GS and I´m currently looking for 1 or 2 partners for this trip; apart from spanish I speak English and some French; I have a lot of experience in bike travelling.
If you have a dual sport bike and you are interested send me an e-mail so we can contact.
Any other advice or comment for this trip will be wellcome.
Thanks and see you soon Jose

Will be traveling US to Equador Feb 5-March 5 riding two late Model KLR650's. Will store bikes in Equador (I hope) and fly home. Then return when I have vacation again in 2002.
Maybe see you on the road.

My name is Jefim and I live in Amsterdam, Holland. I travelled in South America in 2000 including Ushuaia and most countries exept Equador and Colombia. My motorcycle is in Caracas, Venezuela at the moment (hope it is) Later this year I plan to continue travelling. My plan is to ride south into Brazil then go to Boa Vista and try to cross to Peru. Then Equador to Colombia. Fly with Girac from Bogota to Panamacity and visit all of Central America. Then I might park the bike in Texas or I consider going all the way to Alaska and back, depending the time in the year because of the temperature... Tell me when you will be travelling?
Ciao

Jose -
My R1100GS arrives from Australia in late December, and I intend spending the next year travelling through South, Central, and North America.
From mid-January to mid-February a friend will be joining me as we head south from Santiago to Ushuaia, up to Buenos Aires, and then back across to Santiago. From there on I do not have a fixed itinerary other than to make my way north.
My Spanish is poor but I may get to brush up before leaving. Being Irish my only linguistic contributions are English and Gaelic.
Maybe we can get together somewhere along the road.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
