Thailand/Laos/China/Mongolia Feb-March 2019

February-March 2019

We are looking for other travellers to share guide costs to cross Thailand (Cambodia / Laos and eventually Vietnam) early February then into China (early March) to Mongolia.

We are a Dutch couple living in Australia. Travelling with our Toyota Landcruiser 100 series from Darwin to Europe and further to Sth America.

We are in Flores Indonesia on our way to Thailand in the next three-four months, in no rush and flexible.

For both China and Thailand we have quotes as also a per day price for Vietnam.

We hope to get more teams together to reduce costs. Let us know if you are interested or what your plans are.

Cheers

The guide cost to Asian countries is very less. You can obtain their services at the prices of peanuts. However Visa takes time. If your nation provides Visa free/ visa on arrival service than its good or else you have to get one before you travel. There are numerous visa consultant that provide them at minimal price. You can get Singapore Visa Online at Visa Lounge which is priced at mere INR 2350.

Crossing Thailand

Hi please can you tell me which way you are crossing Thailand. We are currently in New Zealand and shipping our Toyota Landcruiser Campervan based on an HZJ79 to Malaysia to arrive in January. We then hope to drive through Thailand to Myanmar and through Myanmar to India. Do you have a quote for Thailand or only China? Enjoy Indonesia, we were there last year and loved it.

Thailand crossing

Hi
If you decide to cross Thailand to Bangkok in early February we might like to join you. Would the cost be 840 usd per person? We have seen on the HUBB that it has been possible to cross in a Campervan without a guide, if that is possible we would prefer that, if it’s not possible we would like to join with a group to reduce costs. We plan to ship our car into Port Klang in Malaysia around 8th January so early February through Thailand would suit us. When will you decide if that is what you are doing? When would you need to know if we will join you? Do you have anyone else joining you so far?
Many thanks
Suede
